Tropical storm warning!

Climate change and mass devastation aside, I always get a little bit excited for any kind of atypical weather condition. As a kid, I'd watch the weather report every morning before walking to the bus stop, then dutifully report to my classmates what conditions were called for. And most of the time the predictions would be inaccurate, but everyone likes to know what to expect anyway. Tropical storm Hanna is moving into the area sometime tonight or tomorrow, and the air's abuzz with talk of canceled Saturday plans. My plans only shift to admit that I probably won't ride my bike to work tomorrow. Sigh, and in the winter I'll regret all the days of summer that I didn't ride.
